Bill Cunliffe - Principal & Business Broker
Bill was born in the U.K. and raised in the family hotel. He attended college in the U.K. and later enrolled into a Hotel Management training school at age 17. Bill came to Australia and commenced working at the Gresham Hotel in Brisbane and then to Cairns where experience and managerial positions followed. He later returned to Brisbane to involve himself in the motel restaurants called Hunter Tower, Annerley and Caraville Motel, Chermside.
To Bill's credit he went on further to open a new restaurant at the Metropolitan Motel and operated the famous Panaroma Room at Cloudland Ballroom which catered for many large functions for five years. At the same time, Bill saw another business opportunity to operate the Tower Mill Motel Restaurant incorporating the famous Room at the Top, as well as the Gourmet in Albert Street which he onsold five years later.
In the early 70's, The Kings Table at Surfer's Paradise was a first class establishment as was the licensed disco called Kings Plus One which was located within the same building. Bill could not be held back; along with these two ventures, the famous Tortilla Restaurant and the Filling Station Restaurant at the Myer Centre as well as Kelvin House Restaurant were added to his portfolio of business interests from 1972 to 1992.
With over 45 years of experience in the hospitality indulstry, Bill became a business broker specialising in the sale of cafes, restaurants, takeaways, bars and associated businesses 12 years ago.

Madonna Cunliffe - Office Administrator
Madonna has been involved in Bill Cunliffe Business Brokers since it inception. Madonna is responsible for the preparation of contracts, inventories and any other documentation necessary to bring a speedy and thorough result in the sale of a business. Madonna is also responsible for the general administration of the business.

James Sofios - Business Broker

James Sofios comes to Bill Cunliffe Business Brokers with a wealth of knowledge and experience in small business. He has owned and operated numerous businesses including City and Commercial Cafes, Industrial Canteens as well as Bar/Bistros.
This experience allows him along with his Clients to set plans and strategies for those wishing to sell their business as well as those wishing to purchase. You will find James places a lot of emphasis on integrity and ethics in his day to day dealings with clients ; it helps to know that you are dealing with an honest and Professional Business Broker looking out for your best interests.
James is fluent in the Greek language.

Lee-Ann Marnock
Lee-Ann orginally qualified as a hairdresser and then opened her own salon, where she employed staff and learned all the complications of running a small business. She then sold this business and commenced working with one of the major national real estate agencies, listing and selling residential and commercial businesses.
Lee-Ann then decided to try her hand at Business Broking and joined the Bill Cunliffe team. She is anxious to meet you to discuss your business enquiries, whether you wish to buy or sell on the lower southside of Brisbane.
